Date confirmed for Ladies Lancs Cup final

Rovers' Ladies will defend their Mercure Dunkenhalgh Women's Challenge Cup title on Wednesday 26th April.

It will be the 14th consecutive final for Gemma Donnelly's side when they take on AFC Fylde at the Lancashire FA ground at Leyland - kick-off 7.30pm.

Last season they defeated 2-1 over Preston North End, their 11th triumph in the competition. This year has seen them beat CMB Sports Club and Morecambe on their way to the final.

Meanwhile the Rovers Ladies are out for further cup glory a week Sunday February 5th when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the SSE Women's FA Cup at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium, Bamber Bridge.

Rovers season ticket holders can see the game for free, general admission prices are £3 for Adults, £1 concessions. Kick-off is at 2.00pm.
