Elliott Bennett felt Rovers put in a professional performance as they booked themselves a place in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup after a 2-0 win over Blackpool on Saturday.
After Sam Gallagher had opened the scoring for the home side from a 9th minute header, the versatile Bennett put in a man-of-the-match display and struck a goal of the season contender with a stunning 30-yard goal to put the game beyond the Seasiders.
Bennett was pleased to get off the mark for the season, but happier that Rovers' name will be in the hat for Monday night's draw.
"It is always nice to score a goal whether it goes in off your face or you hit one from distance," Bennett told Radio Rovers after the match.
"Thankfully I got myself on the scoresheet today, but the most important thing was winning the game.
"I'm happy that we're in the next round, it is never easy in the FA Cup, it doesn't matter who you play, but I thought we did a thoroughly professional job.
"When you are playing against a side that is from a different division to you it is all about getting that first goal.
"It was important to get off to a good start and with Sam scoring and then me it was perfect. From then on their whole game plan that they might have been working on had to change.
"We got the two goals, kept the ball really well, it was just a professional performance."
As for who Bennett wants in round five? He game the same answer when asked the question after defeating Queens Park Rangers in the previous tie.
"I'd love us to get Manchester United at Old Trafford," he added.
"It would be nice for the whole football club and as players you want to test yourselves against the best in the world."
Rovers are back in league action this Wednesday night when Leeds United are the visitors to Ewood Park.
