Rovers' development squad return to Premier League 2 action this Friday night when they take on West Ham United at the Lancs FA headquarters, Leyland.

Damien Johnson's young side will be out to make it three wins in a row after the Under-23s followed up their Premier League Cup victory over Burnley with a 2-0 win over Brighton Hove Albion on Monday night.

That triumph saw Rovers move up to 7th in the Division 2 table and they could go up a further place if they can claim the three points against the Hammers this Friday evening.

The points were shared when the two sides met at Dagenham back in November, Lewis Hardcastle grabbing an equaliser in a 1-1 draw.

With the first team in action against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday a young side is expected to take to the field at the County Ground.

Kick-off is at 7.00pm, season ticket holders can see the game for free on production of their season ticket cards. General admission prices are £3 Adults, £1 Concessions.
