Rovers have several injury doubts ahead of this evening's Roses clash with Leeds United.
Charlie Mulgrew, Hope Akpan, and Liam Feeney are all touch and go to be fit in time for the match at Ewood Park.
Akpan was injured during the second half of the FA Cup win over Blackpool at the weekend, whilst Feeney missed the match due to a broken nose picked up in training.
Mulgrew is making good progress in recovering from a groin strain and will be assessed ahead of the game.
"Hope Akpan is struggling if truth be told, he is a big doubt," boss Owen Coyle told Rovers PlayerHD.
"You saw my reaction to the challenge on Saturday, I thought it was a poor challenge, I thought it was uncalled for.
"It has left Hope with an injury, so he's touch and go for the Leeds United game.
"Charlie Mulgrew has managed to do some light training so if there is no reaction and he feels that he is 100% then I'll have no qualms about putting him into the mix.
"Liam Feeney broke his nose in training on Friday and had to miss the cup game, but if he also comes through training then he has a chance of being involved.
"Corry Evans continues to miss out and there are a few other bumps and bruises from the game."
New signings Marvin Emnes and Lucas Joao have both been registered in time and are expected to come into the squad.
Tickets for the match are on open sale until the 7.45pm kick-off priced from £22 for Adults, £14 for Seniors and 18-21 year-olds, £9 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
