Owen Coyle is enjoying watching the goalscoring battle between Danny Graham and Sam Gallagher.
Gallagher's last-gasp winner against Queens Park Rangers last Saturday took his goal tally for the season to eleven goals, drawing level with his strike-partner Graham.
The Rovers boss believes the competition between the two forwards can only be healthy for progress of the football club, and hopes they can continue to find the back of the net with the same regularity from now until the end of the season.
"Sam and Danny have got a real ding-dong going at the top end as to who wants to be the top scorer and I love that," the manager told Rovers PlayerHD.
"They are both very much team players, they are both into double figures now and looking to push on to get even more.
"Ideally you want three or four getting involved because you want that competitive edge. As strikers and goalscorers it is always nice when you are in amongst the goals and with over 20 goals between the two of them there is plenty more to come.
"We've got to make sure that they are hungry and have that drive and desire and the important thing is they bring a performance for the team. If they get the goals on top of that then that is great.
"But I know they are certainly driven to try and reach those targets."
Both players will be hoping to add to their goal tally when Rovers take on Rotherham on Saturday afternoon.
Tickets are now off sale at Ewood for the match at the ASSEAL New York Stadium, but they will be available on the day of the game, cash only, from the away box office from 1.30pm.
