Jason Steele hopes the Rovers fans can recreate the same sort of atmosphere as experienced in their last two outings.
The Rovers keeper was delighted with the backing that the side received in the FA Cup match against Manchester United at Ewood, and the away league game with Burton Albion last Friday.
Steele knows it won't be easy against a Derby County side pushing for the play-offs, but with the help of the home fans in full voice, he believes Rovers are more than capable of claiming an important haul of points.
"At the Man Utd game the fans were unbelievable," Steele told Rovers PlayerHD. "It was like playing in a cup final.
"If we can create something anywhere near that then I think they will give us that bit of extra edge about us and hopefully we can all pull together and get ourselves out of trouble.
"Against Burton I was warming up 50 minutes before kick-off and it was packed already and they were chanting and singing their songs. It was brilliant.
"Hopefully we can do that against Derby and create an atmosphere that inspires us even more than what we are at the minute to get ourselves out of the situation we are in.
"We've got 14 games left and we have to go and win as many of those football matches as we can. We should have started with a win on Friday but that has gone now.
"We've got a really tough game, we watched Derby play Aston Villa at the weekend and although they lost, they completely dominated the game. Similar to what we did at Burton.
"So it should be a great game, two teams that want to go and play and hopefully it will be a good spectacle.
"But for me it doesn't matter how we play, we've just got to win football matches and make sure we stay in the division."
