Whilst boss Owen Coyle knows Rovers are underdogs for Sunday's Emirates FA Cup tie with Manchester United, he believes that it is a tie that all connected with the club can relish.
After being strong favourites in the previous round against Blackpool, the shoe is firmly on the other foot as Jose Mourinho's United visit Ewood in the 4.15pm kick-off.
But Coyle believes that if his side are at the top of their game then they are more than capable of causing an upset and progressing through the quarter-finals of the competition that Rovers have won six times.
"It is a fantastic game to look forward to," the manager told Rovers PlayerHD.
"It is a glamour game against arguably one, if not, the biggest club in football.
"They are carrying all before them, they are on a great run of form. I attended the game against Saint Etienne and have seen the quality that they have at their disposal.
"Even if Jose decides to freshen it up then it might be that he brings a Michael Carrick or a Wayne Rooney in, that is the quality that they have, it is there for everyone to see.
"But it is great for our players, and particularly the young one, to stand toe-to-toe with some world class players and show that they can play a little bit as well.
"We are a huge underdogs for the game, we were huge favourites in the last round, so there's a different type of pressure.
"So what we have got to do is go out and perform to our best. If we give our very best then we will all sleep well at night knowing that we have given everything we can.
"If we do and Manchester United are slightly off it then that is how cup shocks are created. We have the chance to do that on Sunday."
