There was cause for celebration as Rovers' full back Adam Henley attended the V.I.P preview of the brand new Turtle Bay restaurant in Blackburn's Cathedral Quarter.

A welcome addition to the town’s quickly growing new centrepiece, there were plenty of hungry mouths to feed, as the staff welcomed a host of special guests to a sneak peek of what was to come from the national Caribbean food chain.

From spicy Jerk Chicken wings to Lancashire Hotpot with a Jamaican twist, the food didn’t prove too hot to handle for the Rovers’ Welsh International.

“It’s great to see somewhere like this open in our local area and will no doubt be a big boost for Blackburn. Hopefully it will encourage plenty more places to open for people to go out at night in the town centre.”

Turtle Bay opens to the general public this Sunday February 12th.
