22 February 2017

A series of new training sessions are getting underway every fortnight at St Bede’s High School to heighten the profile of Blackburn Rovers Community Trust's new BTEC in Sport intake.

Potential recruits to the course - which combines education with football or futsal training - are being offered the chance to get to know their aspiring new team mates ahead of September’s enrolment, as well as showcasing their skills at the same time.

This coming Friday, 24th February, is the next scheduled training night, with the session running from 7pm to 8.30pm on the school’s 3G pitch. It then runs on 10th/24th March and 7th/28th April, before becoming a weekly event from May onwards.

The offer is open to all year 11 students who are contemplating the offer of studying at Ewood Park for the 2017/18 academic term onwards – contact Chris McGrail on 01254 508122 if you want to put yourself into contention for a place.
