Craig Conway admits he will fulfil a boyhood dream if he lines up against Manchester United at Ewood Park this Sunday.

For the Rovers midfielder was a young supporter of the Red Devils despite growing up in Scotland.

Conway knows it will be a tough match against Jose Mourinho's side, but believes it is a match that everyone associated with Rovers can savour.

"I was delighted when we were drawn against them," Conway told Rovers PlayerHD. "I've never played against them in the cup or anything like that, so I was personally delighted.

"Man Utd were my English team that I used to follow when I was younger so to face will be brilliant.

"They've been a top team for so many years so to line up against them and test yourself against the top teams is what you want to do.

"They are peppered with world class players all over and I think for them they are starting to get back to what they were.

"It will be a great atmosphere at home, I'd imagine it will be pretty much a sell-out. I am really looking forward to it. The cup has shown so many times, even this season with the likes of Sutton getting through, that there are definitely shocks to be had, and hopefully we can be that one."

Rovers supporters are reminded that they have until close of business on Saturday to get their tickets for the match.

There are no sales on the day for the eagerly-awaited cup-tie, so fans have to get their tickets in advance. The Roverstore at Ewood Park, and the call centre will be open from 10am - 4pm on Saturday for the sales of tickets.
