Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has made two changes to his starting XI for the game against Northampton at Sixfields Stadium.

Both are enforced, with Corry Evans and Dominic Samel missing out through an ankle injury and sickness, with the duo missing out on making the squad.

Coming in for the duo are Peter Whittingham, who has recovered after picking up an injury at Peterborough two weeks ago, and Danny Graham, who leads the line after scoring three goals in his last four games.

For the hosts, former Rover Matt Grimes starts in midfield, but Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will be without the suspended Matt Crooks, who was sent off last week.

Another couple of ex-Rovers in Raheem Hanley and Marc Richards both started on the bench for the Cobblers.

Northampton: Cornell, Moloney, Buchanan (c), Taylor, Foley, Pierre, Long, Smith, O'Toole, Grimes, McGugan.

Substitutes: Waters, Richards, Hoskins, McWilliams, Poole, Hanley, Coddington.

Rovers: Raya, Nyambe, Downing, Mulgrew (c), Williams, Smallwood, Whittingham, Conway, Dack, Antonsson, Graham.

Substitutes: Leutwiler, Harper, Hart, Ward, Caddis, Tomlinson, Nuttall.
