Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has made seven changes to the XI for the FA Cup clash against Crewe Alexandra at Ewood Park.

Coming in from the start are Jayson Leutwiler, Paul Caddis, Elliott Ward, Scott Wharton, Rekeem Harper, Corry Evans and Dominic Samuel, who were all either on the bench or not included for the trip to Blackpool last time out.

There is experience and quality on the bench for Mowbray if required, with the likes of Richie Smallwood, Bradley Dack, Paul Downing and Joe Nuttall named as substitutes.

David Raya, Derrick Williams, Charlie Mulgrew and Peter Whittingham have all been rested completely.

Opponents Crewe have gone with the experienced pairing of Chris Dagnall and Chris Porter up front, whilst former Rover Eddie Nolan - who came through the club's academy system - starts on the bench.

ROVERS: Leutwiler, Caddis, Ward, Wharton, Nyambe, Harper, Evans, Bennett (c), Antonsson, Graham, Samuel.

SUBSTITUTES: Fisher, Hart, Smallwood, Dack, Downing, Travis, Nuttall.

CREWE: Richards, Ng, Walker, Porter, Dagnall (c), Bowery, Cooper, Ainley, Lowery, Pickering, Stubbs.

SUBSTITUTES: Garratt, Bakayoko, Nolan, Lundstrum, Reilly, Grant, Offord.
