Rovers Ladies are pleased to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Natasha Flint from local rivals Fylde Ladies.
Flint's joined another recent Rovers capture in making the move from a stone's throw away, with the England youth international follows Lagan Makin in joining Rovers from the Fylde Coast club.
Flint has been a regular for the young Lionesses, having been capped at England Under-17, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-23s, gaining three caps at the latter level.
Despite only being 21, Flint has a wealth of experience, having played for Manchester City and Notts County in the Women’s Super League, which can only benefit Gemma Donnelly’s side.
“Everything about the club and the setup has helped me with the decision to join,” she said.
“The way I play and the way Gemma (Donnelly) wants the team to play is a perfect fit and a perfect motivator for myself.
“I’m a strong attacking player who likes to mix play up and create different things. I will continue to work on that game-by-game and as a team, we will work game-by-game to hopefully get to where we want to be.”
Manager Donnelly is expecting Flint to be the perfect addition to the side due to her intelligence on the ball.
“I am thrilled to have brought Tash to Rovers,” said Donnelly. “She is an exciting and clever player who leaves me no in doubts that she will fit into the Rovers way.
“She is comfortable on the ball and offers both a presence on the pitch and footballing intelligence.”
