Rovers midfielder Elliott Bennett has hailed Bradley Dack for his fine form this season, saying "it's massive to have a player like him."
Dack produced yet another standout display in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Rochdale and was named Man of the Match for his performance.
The attacker is Rovers' joint top-scorer in 2017-18 with nine goals, and Bennett agrees with manager Tony Mowbray that Dack is an "X Factor footballer".
“Dacky's a fantastic lad, a bit of a joker but he really turns it on when it comes to matchday," Bennett said.
“He’s been fantastic since he came in. Him and Dom [Samuel] are really close and they’ve been great for the dressing room.
“It’s massive to have a player like him, you need them. Dacky’s got something different that others haven’t got, and when he’s on song he’s fantastic."
Dack almost scored a Goal of the Season contender during the Boxing Day victory, beating four defenders with some sublime skill on his way into the area.
Bennett added: “I just wish he’d scored that one at the end. I think if he’d scored I’d have walked off the pitch and carried him off with me!
“There’s no reason why he can’t get 15 or 20 goals this season, we’ve got aspirations of getting promoted and there’s no reason why he can’t get into high double figures."
