After three goals in his last three games, Dominic Samuel is looking forward to facing Burnley on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old has been in fine goalscoring form since joining the club from Reading this summer and hopes it continues in the Carabao Cup second round tie at Ewood Park.
Samuel knows it will be a battle against the Premier League outfit, but insists the team will be going out to do their best for the fans.
"I'm going to go into that game with confidence whatever team the gaffer picks," the striker told iFollow Rovers.
"If I do start then we go again. You've got to fight, you've got the earn the right.
"I know it is Burnley but we don't fear anyone, whatever team we come across we are going to do our best and hopefully get the win.
"It will be another battle, the fans will be up for it, the team will be up for it. So hopefully we'll grind out a win.
"It doesn't matter whether it is a cup game or a league game, at the end of the day you've still got to perform for the fans because they are coming to watch us.
"It doesn't matter what sort of game it is, we'll always put 100% in."
Fans are reminded that tickets for this Wednesday's cup match go off sale at 4pm on the day of the game. There will be NO TICKET SALES after that.
