Those coming to Ewood Park for Saturday's return to league action will once again find a variety of events taking place to add to the overall sense of occasion.

Ahead of the 3pm kick-off, there will be on offer outside the stadium, with further events planned for pitchside around the match itself. In summary, here's what you can expect this weekend…

  • 11am Blues Bar opens.
The bar will be open from 11am, with food available from midday. Please be aware that matchday memberships are required for ease of access.

  • 12pm Strikers’ Lounge opens.
Accessed via the main reception in the Blackburn End, the fun lounge is open free of charge to all family groups with matchday or season tickets.

  • 12.30pm The Foster’s FanZone opens.
Located adjacent to the Roverstore, the stage broadcasts Rovers news and views alongside a selection of upbeat pre-match music.

  • 1pm Rover The Dog arrives.
Rover sets off from the Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre and makes his way round to the FanZone area, before normally heading into the stadium around 45 minutes before kick-off to meet and greet our fans.

  • 1.15pm Penalty Shoot-Out Challenge starts.
Based in the corner of the Blackburn End and Jack Walker Stand, our inflatable goal will be open for you to test the speed of your shot and win prizes!

  • 1.30pm Turnstiles open.
All concourse facilities are available from this time, including The GAME Room and Rover's Kennel in the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Family Stand - great facilities for you to come and check out if you've not seen them before.

  • 1.50pm Owen Holt on stage.
The Lancashire-based singer/songwriter, who has performed at some of the country’s notable music venues, will be performing a headline set on the Foster's FanZone stage.

  • 2.15pm Read out the team sheets!
Any child under the age of 16 is in with a chance of reading out today's teams to the crowd if they're the first to volunteer! It all takes place on the FanZone stage.

  • 2.50pm Guard of honour.
Two winning teams from the recent Inter Madrassah Organisation Multi Faith Tournament that we hosted at the Senior Training Centre – AHF FC Under-8s and Bolton United Under-11s – will be claiming the privilege of forming today’s flag-based parade.

  • 3pm Kick-off!

  • 3.45pm Half-time lap of honour.
We look forward to welcoming back AHF and Bolton United, who return to show off the trophies they won at our recent tournament. They'll be taking them around the pitch, so please give them a warm welcome.

Don't forget that tickets for this weekend's game remain on sale, with special discounted rates (and no matchday increase) for 1875 Club members, starting from as little as £18.
