Tony Mowbray hopes that injured duo Darragh Lenihan and Bradley Dack will only be out of action for a short period of time.
There were concerns when the pair both picked up knocks in Saturday's loss at Southend United, but the manager believes neither injury is serious.
Dack was substituted with a tight hamstring, whilst Lenihan had to finish the match despite picking up a foot injury.
"I'd have to say at this moment it is good news on both of them," said the Rovers boss.
"Darragh is going to have a scan this afternoon, the initial x-ray is pretty clear, so it is good news if the scan on the part of his foot shows only bruising. We'll have to see but it looks pretty positive.
"Bradley, again we brought him off pretty soon after he felt a twinge, so I don't think too much damage has been done there either so hopefully that will settle down quickly.
"I'm not anticipating any great length of time for either of them."
Rovers are back in action this Tuesday night when they travel to take on Coventry City in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
