Harry Chapman insists he 'can't wait to get going' after finalising a season-long switch from Middlesbrough to Ewood Park.
The 19-year-old forward has had a full pre-season with Boro under his belt, on the back of helping England's Under-20s lift the World Cup in South Korea.
Chapman hopes the full-good factor he has enjoyed this summer continues in Rovers colours and he is delighted to get the deal done before a ball is kicked.
"It's outrageous to think that a person who just enjoys doing what he does is a World Cup winner - it's mad to think," said Chapman, who has been signed in time to travel with the Rovers squad to Southend this weekend.
"I can't wait to get going. I love winning games, I love football, so the quicker I can get going the better.
"To be here for the first game is good - to get a good few days training under my belt, to get to know how everybody plays, so when I do play I will understand how we play and who plays where and get to know the names, so it makes everything a lot easier.
"I've had a full pre-season, I feel fit, I feel ready and I can't wait to get started now."
