Corry Evans is the latest Rovers player to receive an international call-up by his country.
The midfielder has been named in Michael O'Neill's Northern Ireland squad for their forthcoming World Cup 2018 qualifiers against San Marino and the Czech Republic.
The Northern Irish travel to take on San Marino on Friday 1st September, before a home qualifier against the Czech Republic in Belfast three days later.
Northern Ireland sit second in their qualifying group, five points behind Germany who have a 100% record of six wins from six games.
They were unbeaten in the corresponding fixtures last year, following up a goalless draw with the Czechs with a 4-0 win over San Marino. A repeat of those results will almost assure them of a play-off place as one of the best runners-up with two further games to play.
The nine group winners all qualify for next year's finals in Russia. The best eight runners-up will then play-off in a bid to join them.
