Craig Conway is relishing the opportunity to lock horns with local rivals Burnley once more in this Wednesday night's Carabao Cup clash.
The draw for the second round sees Rovers resume rivalries with their east Lancashire neighbours for what is sure to be a mouthwatering clash at Ewood Park.
The Rovers midfielder has experienced the drama and atmosphere of the big local derby before and knows it will be a fantastic occasion.
"Watching the draw it was almost inevitable that we were going to get drawn against Burnley," the Scot told iFollow Rovers.
"I think it is brilliant for everybody involved, it gives the place a boost as well.
"I've played in the derby before and it is brilliant, especially at home as well. So hopefully there'll be a great atmosphere as I'm sure there will be.
"It is a great occasion and everybody is up for it - on and off the park.
"Everybody involved with the club is really looking forward to it, you can feel with the fans a buzz about it, there is something about that game, it would be massive if we got a result."
Fans are reminded that tickets for this Wednesday's cup match will go off sale at 4pm on the day of the game.
