Blackburn Rovers welcomed some special guests from Chicago at the Academy earlier this week.
Nine goalkeepers from Big Cat Goalkeeping were invited over to take part in various training sessions down at Brockhall, whilst also joining in with the club's day release programme.
The goalkeepers had a full week of training and spent time interacting with the full-time scholars and the goalkeepers at the Academy. They also attended evening seminars with a selection of guest speakers, and enjoyed a hosted tour of Ewood Park.
Goalkeeping coach Ben Benson arranged the visit from the Chicagoans after going out to the United States last year.
"I was very fortunate to go out to Chicago in the summer and meet Neil and the Big Cat Goalkeepers and watch their training programmes," said Benson.
"When over there we decided to try and arrange for the players to come over to England and have a week training at Rovers.
"The standard of the goalkeepers was excellent and I must say they have been an absolute pleasure to work with and an absolute credit to themselves and their parents.
"All the staff have commented on their attitude and application and their enthusiasm for training was excellent.
"I would like to say a huge well done and thank you to all the players involved along with head coach Neil Thompson. I would also like to say a massive thank you to all the academy staff who have done a great job in making the players feel welcome.
"Due to the success of this event we are already looking at hosting the goalkeepers again next season."
