We have to show what we can do

Tommie Hoban knows Rovers have to show a response when they take on Nottingham Forest this Friday afternoon.

The on-loan defender admits the performance last weekend against Barnsley wasn't up to scratch and that they have to put that right at the City Ground.

But Hoban believes the squad are capable of bouncing back in what is a vital Easter weekend for the club.

"We are all looking forward to getting out there and trying to put right the disappointing result last Saturday," the centre-half told Rovers PlayerHD.

"We just want to get back out on the pitch and show what we can do.

"We've got five massive games to go now and we all know the importance of them and how big they are and we know if we play to our capabilities we can definitely come away with some positive results and we need to do that starting with Forest on Friday.

"If we can get two wins in the next two games then it will look much better again. We've just got to be positive and believe we can do that.

"Obviously it is hard when you are down in this position, it is hard not to look at the bigger picture. All we can do now is focus on each day, training as hard as we can, getting ourselves right to be ready for the game.

"If we do that and we put it together on Friday then we know we are capable of coming away with three points."

Tickets will be on sale to Rovers fans at the City Ground, cash only from the cash only from the away ticket office.

Matchday prices are: Adults £26, Seniors 65+ £19, Under 18’s £12, Under 12’s £6.
