There's a real intensity to training

Tony Mowbray believes his squad are working hard in training to earn themselves a place in the starting XI for Wolves on Saturday.

The Rovers boss has seen a real intensity and desire from the players out on the pitches at Brockhall to ensure they are ready for the final three games of the season.

Mowbray could have a few selection headaches with a near fully fit squad to select from, and he hopes that the extra competition for places brings it's rewards at Molineux.

"I see a real focus in training, there's been no messing about," said Mowbray. "The intensity is very much there at the moment.

"They are training hard because I constantly tell them that I do watch training, even if some days I let the two Davids use their voice and manage training. Some days I don't miss anything I watch and see who's hungry I see who is at it, and see who's got an intensity about the way they are training and they want to play and they are showing me by the way they are actually training.

"I think they are ready, I think whichever team we decide to pick, whichever team we start with we will get 100% and hopefully have enough to pose some pretty serious questions of Wolves' team."

Rovers fans are reminded that there are no sales on the day at Molineux and that tickets go off sale at Ewood at 4pm this Friday.

Tickets are priced at £30 Adults, £15 Seniors 65+ and Under 21’s £15, Under 17’s £12 and Under 12’s £10.
