Wes Brown insists Rovers can show the fighting spirit to get the results to move them out of the bottom three.
Saturday's defeat at home to Barnsley left Rovers four points away from safety, but with two huge matches over the Easter weekend the defender feels that it is still fully within their grasp.
Rovers travel to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest this Friday, before returning to Ewood to take on fellow strugglers Bristol City on Bank Holiday Monday. Games that Brown knows are hugely important.
Speaking at the Community Trust's Easter Holiday Camp at the Adrenaline Centre in Haslingden, the former England man said:
"We've half to forget about Barnsley now and look onto the next two games with Nottingham Forest and Bristol City.
"These two games are so important, if we can beat Nottingham Forest that still keeps them in it as well.
"I've still got complete confidence in the squad, and I'm sure we can still do it, but we do have to be very confident and go out there and show everyone what we can do and show the fighting spirit that we have got.
"You go into the games to win, play well and try your best, and hopefully if we can get three points then the day is brilliant. Unfortunately it wasn't that on Saturday and now we have to look forward and look forward to playing Nottingham Forest and mentally be prepared for it.
"If we can win our next two games then it will be massive. It starts on Friday against Forest."
Tickets for Friday's match at Nottingham are currently on open sale priced at £24 for Adults, £17 for Seniors, £12 for Under-18s and £6 for Under-12s.
