Huge games for us

22 April 2017

Jason Lowe knows the importance of collecting as many points as possible from the final three games of the season.

The Rovers captain insists Championship survival is fully within their grasp and they'll be approaching the forthcoming fixtures in the right manner.

Starting this Saturday with the trip to Wolves, Lowe believes they have to show the same solid base and determination that they did in the win over Nottingham Forest a week ago in order to come out with another positive result.

"We really need to be on our mettle with the ball and without it and obviously not to give ourselves a mountain to climb," Lowe told Rovers PlayerHD.

"If we stick to our principles, if we play the way we know we can with the ball, if we can be defensively solid without it, have a solid base and try and keep a clean sheet, and do similar what we did at Forest.

"It is vital in any league if you can achieve that and have that as a base. But by any means necessary we have to start winning games, it is as simple as that.

"Hopefully we can start that on Saturday and if results go for us then it can look a lot better for us.

"There are three games and we just have to try and win them all. If we win them all then we'll be safe in my opinion, it is as simple as that. Lets see how we get on on Saturday, we have to put the points on the board and we have to do it by any means necessary."
