As Danny Guthrie prepares to face one of his former clubs Reading this Tuesday night, he has stressed the importance of getting more wins.
The midfielder felt Rovers' didn't deserve to be on the losing side at the weekend at Brighton, but knows they need to show the right response against a Royals side eager to consolidate their place in the top six.
Guthrie believes the team have been playing well on their travels in recent weeks, but feels Reading will pose a difficult test as Rovers look for a positive result to move them out of the bottom three.
"Obviously we had been on a decent run, unbeaten in seven, and we lost to a team that were very good, but I felt we didn't deserve to lose," Guthrie told Rovers PlayerHD.
"We've got another tough game on Tuesday and we'll have to pick ourselves up and get going again.
"Teams around us picked up points the other day so it is important that we have to start finding wins.
"Recently our away form hasn't been too bad, we've picked up some good draws, and I felt we deserved a draw the other day. So we have to take that form into the game on Tuesday as it will be a difficult.
"They are a really good side this year so it will be a good test. I've seen them a couple of times on TV and they look a really good passing side, they play a formation that you won't come up against very often so it will be an interesting test.
"Getting points anywhere at this stage of the season is going to be massive for us, obviously our home form is going to be huge, but points on the road are going to be needed."
