Another must win game

Derrick Williams knows the importance of this afternoon's match against Bristol City.

Rovers go into the match boosted by the 1-0 away win over Nottingham Forest on Good Friday, but the defender knows that they have to follow that up against the Robins at Ewood Park.

Williams insists that they have to approach the match with the right mentality to be able to get one over his former side.

"Every game is massive," said the 24-year-old. "I’m just looking at the game that is in front of us and not looking any further ahead.

"It’s a must win game and we have to have that mentality going out there. There’s no point going out there to try and draw or anything like that. We have to go out there and give it our all and try to put things right and pull ourselves a little closer to them.

"I think it will be tough game. I think they’re going to have their confidence back. They’ve had a couple of good results lately, so they’re going to be confident, but we’re at home, so we need to use that advantage and it should be a good game."

Tickets for the match on Bristol City are on open sale up until the 3pm kick-off.
