A first goal in over four years from Tommie Hoban helped Rovers to a valuable three points against Nottingham Forest on Good Friday.
The on-loan defender powered home a header from a 78th minute Connor Mahoney corner to clinch the victory at the City Ground.
Whilst delighted with the goal he was just as pleased with the clean sheet and knows they have to build on that positivity in Monday's Ewood clash with Bristol City.
"It has been a very long time since my last goal but I guess it has come at an important time," Hoban told Rovers PlayerHD.
"It was an unbelievable ball from Connor, his delivery from both feet is top class and once it has come in I've managed to just get half a yard on my man, I tried to get up and stick my head on it and thankfully it ended up in the back of the net.
"It was a bit of a new feeling for me, but it was definitely a great feeling. But it isn't about me scoring goals, as a defender I'm happy to get the clean sheet as well.
"I'm just really happy that we've been able to get the three points today and hopefully we can build on this now.
"We've another game on Monday now so we have to move on quickly and take the positivity in to the game against Bristol City."
