Owen Coyle believes if Rovers can put in more performances like the one shown at Loftus Road on Saturday then wins will soon follow.
Rovers had the better of the play and chances in the 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers, but had to settle for a first point on their travels this season.
The manager has seen a marked improvement in displays over the last few weeks, and whilst he knows they should have more points on the board, they are heading in the right direction.
"We should have beaten Burton and we certainly should have gotten something from Fulham so we know it is coming," said Coyle.
"We came here to Loftus Road with everyone writing us off and we've taken a point when it should have been three.
"I thought there we so many positives and so many plusses. In isolation, going away to Queens Park Rangers it is a great point, but with the chances we created we should have got more.
"Moving forward if we can continue to perform like that then we will win games in the Championship.
"The boys are working very hard for Blackburn Rovers and I know they are determined to win games and move us up the league - which they will do."
The manager also had words of thanks for the 600 Rovers fans who made the journey to back their side on Saturday.
He added: "We had an unbelievable support, they came here and backed the players, got behind them and sang their hearts out which was great and the players responded to it.
"I was pleased for the supporters who came that we got the one point, but certainly we wanted the three."
Rovers are back in action this Tuesday night when they travel to Elland Road to take on Leeds United.
