Owen Coyle believes he has assembled a strike force full of goalscoring talent.
Marvin Emnes made it three goals in three consecutive league games with his equaliser in Saturday's win over Derby County, before laying on the key pass for Danny Graham to fire home the winner.
And with Sam Gallagher and Anthony Stokes also with three goals to their name so far this season, the manager believes they can push each other on to greater performances and results.
"This is why we brought these players to the club because we believed in them that they can score goals and they can win games," Coyle told Rovers
"We had no strikers when we came, so we've achieved this under tight financial conditions and worked very hard.
"But I think we've brought some very tasty attacking players to the club.
"The goal for Danny will be great for him because all of a sudden he has seen Gallagher and Emnes on fire last week and he knows that he has got to get back to the Danny Graham we know and love, which we have now seen.
"So we have real competition, we left Anthony Stokes behind to train to get more training under his belt so he'll be an option as well as he has already scored goals for us this season, so he's still got to come back in when he is fully fit.
"So we feel we are building a competitive squad for the Championship."
