Marvin Emnes is determined to score the goals to fire Rovers up the league table.

The dreadlocked Dutchman grabbed his first in Rovers colours on Tuesday night against Leeds, and could make his first start for his loan club this afternoon against Rotherham.

The striker believes the team are working hard to get wins, and he hopes to be able to play his part in front of goal to ensure they come along quickly.

"The guys have been working hard to get the points, and hopefully in the next game we can do that," he said.

"If I can get the goals and we stop letting them in then for sure we are going to get the points.

"We need to win, this league is tough, if you win a couple of games you go back up the league, if you lose then you are down at the bottom.

"We all know that we need to win because at the moment we are at the bottom and that is not where we belong.

"But we've got a game again on Saturday and hopefully we'll get the three points there."

Tickets for today's match against Rotherham are on open sale up until the 3pm kick-off priced from £18 for Adults, £12 Concessions and £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
