Jason Steele believes with more games together, the performances from the defence will continue to improve.
The Rovers keeper feels the new-look back line are showing promising signs of quickly gelling after another solid display in the draw at Queens Park Rangers.
It took a stunning 30-yard free-kick from Tjaronn Chery to finally breach the Rovers ranks, but Steele was pleased with the resolve the side showed to come back to claim a point.
"I think first and foremost it is another good point," said the Rovers number one.
"We should have had at least a point previously against Fulham so I think things are hopefully starting to turn for us.
"Maybe with a little bounce of the ball here and there and we could have been taking three points home. But as long as we keep nullifying chances and keep solid like we have done in the last two games then we'll be okay.
"You see a group of lads out there that know what their jobs are. They are organised, fully concentrated and I think that is half the battle at this level.
"The four lads in front of me are quality players who have played a lot of football at this level and I think over the course of the season it will hold us in good stead.
"We did well against QPR on Saturday but it is no point going to Elland Road on Tuesday and going back to bad habits.
"We've got to keep going and I think we are showing good signs at the minute."
