Martin Samuelsen earned his second cap for Norway on Wednesday evening in an international friendly against Belarus.
The Rovers attacker came on in the 62nd minute at the Ullevaal Stadium, moments after Belarus had taken the lead in Oslo thanks to a strike from Siarhei Krivets.
Norway improved in the closing stages with Samuelsen catching the eye with a rising shot that was tipped over the bar, but the home side couldn't find an equaliser.
The Norwegians kick off their World Cup qualifying programme this Sunday against Germany in Oslo. Also in their group are the Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, Azerbaijan and San Marino.
