Sam Gallagher proved himself to be Rovers' FIFA 17 king - a week before it was due to hit the shelves!
The young striker beat off competition from seven of his team-mates in the excellent surroundings of The GAME Room at Ewood Park, as part of a joint promotion covering both the release at GAME's recently relocated Blackburn town centre store and the popular family facility at the stadium.
The straight knockout tournament was keenly contested, with Jack Byrne and Stephen Hendrie arriving early for extra practice and Marvin Emnes scoring the first goal of the event against Gallagher, but his strike partner came back to win their quarter-final tie 2-1, before going on to defeat Hendrie 3-1 in the final.
Fans can sample a demo of FIFA 17 in The GAME Room tonight if they have tickets in the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Family Stand, while the hotly-awaited game itself is released in just over 24 hours' time, at midnight on Thursday, via GAME's new outlet at 40 King William Street.
