Reward the fans with a win

16 September 2016

Owen Coyle hopes to reward the home support with a first three points of the season on Saturday.

The Rovers boss has been delighted with the backing his side has received this season and hopes to send the fans home happy at 5pm tomorrow.

"We've got a terrific fan base and they love the club," said Coyle.

"I think it is important that they continue to back the players and get behind them and give them that encouragement because when they do the players can sense that.

"It is great when we have those Blackburn Rovers fans singing and supporting the players, getting behind them and really driving them on.

"I think that is very important on Saturday that they come and hopefully by doing that the players can then reward the fans with those that three points and that win that everybody craves and that gets us up and running in the Championship.

"The Championship can change very quickly and we want that first win and we want it on Saturday and I think the fans can play a huge part in helping us to achieve that."

Tickets for Saturday's match against Rotherham are on open sale up until the 3pm kick-off priced from £18 for Adults, £12 Concessions and £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
