David Raya is relishing the prospect of facing Leeds United in this evening's EFL Cup third round tie.
The Spaniard has fond memories of Elland Road having made his Rovers debut there in April 2015, keeping a clean sheet as the Lancashire side ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.
Manager Owen Coyle has confirmed that the 21-year-old will get another chance in goal in tonight's cup clash, and the keeper is eager to impress."
"I made my full debut with Blackburn there, so it will bring some good memories back," Raya told Rovers PlayerHD.
"It is going to be good for me going back to Elland Road and hopefully we'll get the win.
"We won 3-0 on my full debut, you couldn't have asked for anything more, it was a great game and a great day for me and my family.
"I am still only 21 but I think I've grown up more since then with the experience I have had with the games I have played. Every day you learn something, even if you don't play every single week.
"So I'm really looking forward to the match, as a player that is what you want to do. A good cup run is good for the club so hopefully we get the win and get a big tie in the next round, that is the aim.
"After the weekend the confidence is up so we have to take that into the game at Leeds."
