Danny Graham says the spirit in the dressing room is high after recent performances and victories.
The striker returned to the side on Saturday, making a huge impact as a second half substitute by grabbing the winning goal and an assist as Rovers made it back-to-back wins with a 2-1 triumph over Derby County.
Graham believes the manner of Saturday's win can give the side huge confidence, with Sheffield Wednesday next up at Ewood Park this Tuesday night.
"To get back-to-back wins is massive," said the striker. "We know it has been a poor start to the season but to come here and get three points after going behind gives us massive confidence going into Tuesday's game.
"We don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves because there we know there are difficult games in this league but those two games has filled everyone with confidence.
"We want to try and get a run together, we've had two good wins so now everybody is buzzing and looking forward to Tuesday."
Graham's cool finish at the iPro Stadium topped off a fantastic 25-pass team move, and was awarded the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Weekend, but the former Sunderland man knows that it all about the team rather than individual accolades.
"We've just had a look at the goal and there is 20-odd passes before we end up finishing it, but the main point is it doesn't matter how it goes in as long as we win the game, that is the most important thing," he added.
"Obviously I hadn't scored since the Cardiff game and the boys that have come in have done ever so well, and rightly so they kept their place, so it was up to me to come on and prove a point and hopefully I've done that.
"We need that competition, it is a long, hard season with at least 46 games and you need everyone doing well. The boys last week were superb and rightly so they kept their place.
"We've now got competition throughout the squad so that shows the size of the squad that we've got now so hopefully we can kick on."
