Corry Evans will make his 100th appearance in a Rovers shirt if he turns out against Sheffield Wednesday this Tuesday evening.

The Northern Ireland international, who joined Rovers from Hull City just over three years ago, admits he's enjoyed his time at the club and was unaware of the milestone.

"I had a bad injury in my first season that kept me out for about four months, so I didn't realise it would be my 100th game if I play against Sheffield Wednesday," said the midfielder.

"I've had a great time here and I've enjoyed every minute being at Blackburn and hopefully I can get many more appearances under my belt. I'm still only 26 so I have a lot of time to go.

"In my professional career I think this is the club that I have spent the most time at one club. It is a great family club and I really enjoy playing here."

Evans knows tonight's match against one of the fancied sides in the division will be another tough test of their credentials, but they go into the game full of confidence following back-to-back league wins over Rotherham United and Derby County.

"They were unlucky last year, they got to the play-offs, he added. "They've invested a lot of money again this year and they've got a really good squad.

"I don't think they've had the best of starts as they would have liked, but they are a dangerous team and we've got to be on top form if we want to get anything from the game.

"We want build up momentum and confidence and take that into every game and we want to keep going and get to the international break unbeaten."

Tickets for tonight's match will be on open sale up until the 7.45pm kick-off. Prices start from just £22 for Adults, £14 for 18-21-year-olds and seniors aged 65 and over, whilst Juniors aged 17 and under can see the game from just £9.
