Darragh Lenihan, Tommie Hoban and Jack Byrne will all hope for game time when the Republic of Ireland Under-21s face Serbia this Friday.

The Rovers trio are in Noel King's squad for their final UEFA U21 qualifier against Serbia.

Having missed out on the chance to reach next summer's tournament with an away defeat to this evening's opponents last month, the Irish now have little but pride to play for in Waterford.

Italy have finished top of Group 2, with second-placed Serbia in pole position for a play-off spot ahead of Slovenia by two points. Ireland can't finish any higher than fourth.
