Rovers' development squad are back in Premier League 2 action this Monday night when they travel to take on Brighton & Hove Albion.
Damien Johnson's young charges go into the match at the Checkatrade.com Stadium in fine form with three wins from their last four league outings, and face a Seagulls side with just the one win to their name from the first six games of the season.
Rovers had the better of the south coast club in the two matches between the two sides last season. Ewood Park played host to a 3-0 home win last September thanks to goals from Chris Taylor, Sacha Petshi and Anton Forrester, whilst it was a tighter affair at Crawley the following April as a first half goal from Connor Mahoney secured the points.
With the first team in action against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night a young side has travelled south for tonight's game as they look to keep pace with the teams at the top of the Premier League 2 Division Two table.
