Rovers now offering coaching from age three and upwards

3 October 2016

Blackburn Rovers Community Trust are delighted to now offer football coaching for every child from ages three to 11!

Weekends at the Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre will be the place to be from October onwards, thanks to five different sessions covering a mixture of age groups and giving them all a chance to take their first steps in football, with an emphasis on fun and involvement.

The niche session is the exciting new 'Mini Rovers' concept, open to boys and girls aged three to five, every Saturday from 9am to 10am. Plenty of touches and an introduction to the game's fundamental skills will be the aim, with plenty of enjoyment thrown into the mix!

Older players get their chance in special 'Player Development Centres', offered at different times for boys and girls. For ages six to eight, the girls go first on Friday evenings from 5pm to 6pm, with the boys following on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Split male/female groups are also open for ages nine to eleven on Saturday mornings, running on adjacent pitches from 10am to 11am.

The two girls-only sessions are underway now for all who want to get involved, with the three other sessions launching on Saturday 15th October.

Priced at just £3 per session, they're great value, and open to players of all abilities.
