Mixed news on the injury front

Owen Coyle has differing fortunes on the injury front ahead of Saturday's home match against Ipswich Town.

The Rovers boss should be able to call upon the services of Marvin Emnes and Corry Evans after the pair limped off last time out against Birmingham, but Danny Graham isn't expected to recover from the groin strain picked up at St. Andrew's.

Anthony Stokes is available once more, whilst Gordon Greer and Wes Brown should have shaken off knocks in time. Charlie Mulgrew is back in full training, but he isn't likely to feature at Ewood on Saturday.

Speaking to Rovers PlayerHD on Thursday afternoon, the manager said: "Marvin Emnes is fit and available for the game as is Corry Evans so that is good news.

"Danny Graham is a huge doubt for Saturday as he hasn't been able to take part in any training with the group as yet, but we'll still give him until tomorrow to see if he can join in. So at this moment he looks very doubtful, but Anthony Stokes is available and will be part of the squad.

"Gordon Greer tweaked his groin last Friday before Scotland's Lithuania game, so he came back and has sorted that out and has trained with us today and will be fit and available for Saturday.

"Wes Brown took a knock in a behind closed doors game the other day, so we wait on news on that.

"The international break has also allowed Charlie Mulgrew to join in with the group and he has trained very well this week. The difficulty as always is he probably needs a couple of games under his belt but he has certainly trained very well. So moving forward that is a good sign for us that hopefully that Charlie will come into the frame very soon."

Jason Lowe serves a one-match suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the season, Craig Conway will captain the side.
