Marvin - Keep showing your support

28 October 2016

Marvin Emnes hopes to keep hearing his name being chanted by the supporters because he knows it means he is playing well.

The striker has been delighted by the backing he has received since joining the Lancashire club on a six-month loan deal from Swansea City.

The Dutchman has so far bagged three goals in ten appearances during his Rovers spell, and hopes that with the fans support he can add to his tally.

"They give me a good feeling," said the Dutchman. "If the crowd start singing your name that means you are doing a good job.

"So I hope they keep singing my name for a long time because if they are doing that then it means I am doing my job well.

"As long as you work hard even if the football is not there, but if you work hard then the crowd see that you are willing to fight for it, then they will get behind you.

"With the support of the crowd some players feel better for it so the crowd is important to us."
