Rovers Ladies extended their advantage at the top of the FAWPL table with a convincing 4-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Having defeated Forest 5-1 when the two sides met last month in the Cup, Rovers were comfortable victors at Bamber Bridge to move five points clear and extend their winning run to seven games.
Gemma Donnelly side were on the front foot from the off, taking the lead after just eight minutes. As Saffron Jordan burst into the area, her ball across the box was deflected into the back of the net by an unfortunate Forest defender.
Then after Lynda Shepherd and Natasha Fenton had gone close, Rovers eventually doubled their advantage at the midway point when a Kayleigh McDonald ball into the box was expertly flicked home by Ainsley Strickland.
The home side then made it three just before the break with a first goal of the season for Ellie Cook.
A corner from Fenton was whipped in with purpose and the defender headed back across goal and into the corner of the goal.
Ten minutes into the second half the visitors hit back to make it 3-1. A free-kick into the area wasn't dealt with by keeper Danielle Hill and Andi Bell forced the ball home.
Rovers then had to endure a spell of pressure as Forest looked to reduce the deficit further.
However having seen off their threat Rovers twice saw goals disallowed for offside, but Alex Taylor wrapped up the points in injury time.
Having outpaced a defender on the touch line, the substitute saw the keeper off her line and from 35-yards out superbly lobbed the ball into the back of the net.
The Ladies are next in cup action when they travel to take on CMB Sports Club this Sunday.
