The second year of goalkeeping camps held at the Blackburn Rovers Academy has been hailed a huge success.
Following on from last year's camps, the Academy coaches put another batch of young hopefuls through their paces in a series of coaching sessions.
A record number of budding keepers from ages 7 through to 14 put on their gloves at the Senior Training Centre, with Academy goalkeeping coach Ben Benson delighted with the number and quality of the lads who came through the doors, with more camps planned to take place in the future.
"Firstly we were delighted to host our second year of goalkeeping open evenings," said Benson.
"The numbers far exceeded last year's event and we were delighted to see old and new faces. The number of goalkeepers over our three evenings was over 50 which we were very happy with.
"These evenings are fundamental to us producing goalkeepers but it also allows us to open the doors for both parents and players to see what we do down here at the Academy with the goalkeepers.
"We look forward to holding some more open evenings in the new year and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all patents and players for there support of these events."
