Owen Coyle believes that if the players continue to put in the performances then the points will surely follow.

After the disappointment of the undeserved defeat at Bristol City last weekend, Rovers are back in action this Saturday when Wolverhampton Wanderers are the visitors to Ewood Park in the 5.30pm kick-off.

The manager feels that the team have picked up performance-wise in recent weeks, but that hasn't been reflected in the number of points picked up.

"The last six or seven games we have been playing well," said Coyle.

"But what we have got to do is make sure that we keep stepping forward, keep believing in what we are doing and trusting how we are passing and moving the ball which we are. And if we continue to perform like that then we'll get results and get the points to go with the performances.

"We know that we have got a group that are looking settled, looking at times that we can control games, and that is what we have got to do.

"What we have to do is learn from our mistakes and make sure that we eradicate them. But we know that we have improved no end and we'll continue to improve and the points will come."
