Sam Gallagher was delighted to score the goals to give Rovers all three points in Tuesday night's win over Nottingham Forest
The on-loan striker took his goal tally in a Rovers shirt to five for the season with a fine brace as the Blues got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory at Ewood Park.
Gallagher was pleased to build on Saturday's draw with the win over Forest, and insists it is now all about keeping the momentum going into the weekend match at Bristol City.
"The main thing every week is to get the three points so to do it and get two goals makes it all the sweeter," the young forward told Radio Rovers.
"For the first goal I made sure that I stayed onside as the full back was playing me on, my first touch was maybe a little bit heavy but I was glad to see it go in.
"The second goal is another great team goal like you saw against Derby. It shows that we can play football in the right way and that is the way we look to do it.
"To score a goal like that, for me it is just a tap-in, but it was all about the work from the other boys.
"Saturday was hard after having the break, it took us a bit to get going and you saw that from both sides. But we had a great week of training and you saw against Forest that we were all on top form.
"It is now all about momentum, you string a couple of wins together and a few good performances and the next minute you are flying up the table.
"So that is what we'll be looking to do, to get another win is what we are going out to do."
