A game we know we can win

14 October 2016

Owen Coyle hopes Rovers can take advantage of being back at Ewood by collecting three points against Ipswich Town tomorrow afternoon.

Rovers return to action after the international break when Mick McCarthy's side travel to Ewood Park, and whilst the manager knows it won't be an easy game, he is confident that with the backing of the fans, they can claim a second home win of the season.

"It is a game that we know that we can win," Coyle told Rovers PlayerHD.

"It is a tough game, as they all are in the Championship, but we are back at Ewood and we want to start getting points under our belt at home.

"I think the last couple of performances have been decent, the Rotherham game when we won, and then against Sheffield Wednesday where we played well and should have had something from the game. It was certainly no consolation when the PGMO rang me to tell me that we had scored a perfectly good goal against Sheffield Wednesday.

"So we know that we have got goog players and we know that we are building a good team, and we know that we want to go and start getting points under out belt at Ewood so it is up to us to make sure that we go and play well and give the fans something to sing about when they get behind the team."
