The benchmark has been set

Danny Graham knows that Saturday's impressive victory over Newcastle will count for nothing if they can't follow it up with more points against Huddersfield this weekend.

The Gateshead-born forward gave the Magpies defence a tough time as Rovers defeated the league leaders 1-0 at St. James' Park thanks to Charlie Mulgrew's first goal for the club.

The result meant back-to-back league wins for Rovers for only the second time this season, and Graham knows they'll have to put in a repeat performance in order to gain maximum points once more.

"It was a great feeling for everyone," said the striker. "Obviously I've been up there a few times and won, but under the circumstances where everyone wrote us off, we went up there and showed what we are all about.

"We've set the benchmark now and we can't let our performances drop any lower than what we did on Saturday.

"We've got to keep those standards, we've been looking for that since the start, so to put performance in off the back of a good performance against Brentford was pleasing. So we need to build on that and get another three points on Saturday.

"It is always nice to get out of that bottom three. We are there because we deserve to be there, there is no hiding behind that. We haven't got the results we should be getting with the squad that we've got, so we need to look forward now and not look back.

"If we can't get confidence from going up to Newcastle and beating them then we aren't going to get it from any game.

"So we have to build on it, we know Huddersfield is going to be tough, but we've got to impose ourselves on the game and pick up another valuable three points.

"We owe it to ourselves and more so to the fans who pay the money to come and watch us, so it would be nice to get a run of form going at home and put a smile back on the punters faces at Ewood Park."
