Rovers star Charlie Mulgrew has been called up to the Scotland squad for Friday’s World Cup qualifier against England.
Mulgrew has been added to Gordon Strachan’s 25-man squad for the hotly-anticipated match at Wembley.
Since recovering from a calf injury picked up on his debut at QPR in September, the 30-year-old has impressed in Rovers’ last four fixtures, starting the last two games at left-back against Wolves and Aston Villa.
Mulgrew, who has 24 caps for his country, started for Scotland the last time they played England – when the Three Lions ran out 3-1 winners at Celtic Park in November 2014.
England currently top Group F, with seven points from three games, whilst Scotland sit fourth with four points.
